Heroes of Hope Awards

The Tzaneen Community Forum, Letaba Herald, Caxton Cares, Iinfo and the Taste of Tzaneen Fest are teaming up to launch the Heroes of Hope campaign.

The purpose being to help promote and create awareness of the good work that many of our local organisations are doing in the greater Tzaneen area.

This annual campaign wants to give recognition to some of the many organisations who are doing incredible work all over our community without any thought of reward. This campaign wants to rally the community to help to give these organisations and their staff the recognition they truly deserve and we want to show them that our community notices them, is grateful to them and would like to support them somehow;- even it is just to say thank you.

The categories of the 5 awards are as follows:

  • Healthcare Organisations
  • Welfare Organisations
  • Organisations who work with Children
  • Organisations who work with the Elderly
  • And a special award for an Unsung Hero (individual).

The nominations will be open to the whole community and run via a sms campaign – see press for details, or from our social media sites.

The voting campaign will end on the 27th October 2019

The final winners will be announced at the Opening Ceremony at the Taste of Tzaneen on the 31st October and be part of the Celebrate Limpopo Event.
